Namaste
I feel such a deep, futile sorrow over the Japanese earthquake and its aftermath. The devastation is a world away and I am going about my daily routine. But the people of Japan - resilient and beautiful - are always in my heart and prayers (see this meaningful blog post by The New York Times' Nicholas Kristof).
Nature usually reveals its pulchritudinous side to us, but this horrific event serves as a reminder of its shear power and the fact that we humans are but mere guests on this earth.
