There are times when we must step back from the turmoil and discontent to find and observe the humor of our situation. We must dissect and describe the vivid, ridiculous creatures who inhabit our lives. These characters we are forced to associate with become fodder for budding novels. Throw off that constant feeling of being embattled by the petty, hypocritical whims of those persons and allow your body to become a vessel that you use to earn only your bread. Your spirit vacates this vessel during these troubling times and perches on a nearby ledge, notepad and pen out, and scribbles away at this intriguing dynamic of human interactions.
A cross between Darwin and Dickens, you find the art in the absurdity.
In doing this act, I preserve my sanity for brighter times.
