NewYear

I glanced through some of the archives of The Marginalian from this past year, and started to do a post with tons of links and pictures. But then, I realized that I wanted to share a more simple message.

I started off this year with the hope of a new chapter, which turned out not to be as bright and shiny as I had originally thought. However, the trials of this year hold more value for my development than I imagined. It was meant to purge all my bad feelings and perspectives. A cleansing of deteriorating thoughts.

And now I am firmly on square one. But this time, I am equipped with the knowledge and direction that I was lacking 365 days ago.  And I am ready to step onto a higher square and whether or not it's the right square, I feel ready to take on the next set of challenges and to label any experience I might have formerly called a "mistake" as a wrinkle that will enlighten me further about living in this majestic world.  For it is truly a wondrous place. One in which I want to delight more in the coming year.

Happy New Year!
