A Happy Bun

Something that made my week is being able to put my hair up in a high messy bun. I had my long hair cut last week and was worried that I wouldn't be able to maintain this look. We've seen some great examples of this at A Cup of Jo and wide open spaces, which inspired me to add praise of this trendy look. I adore this chic hairstyle because it echoes the pompadour, variations of which were popular during Victorian times. Ah, that I could have lived during those times. Wearing this bun makes me feel very Portrait of a Lady. The messy bun is romantic and seductive and I feel so good when sporting it!
